Gloryhole In Columbus Hio

Paolo Nori, no tuba, DeriveApprodi 1999, pp.22-23

You say so much behind the film, Pasolini, Wim Wenders, television, and literature, then? Let it be television, please. The film, two things will happen
, if you go to the movies. The first, who happens to you then you ask questions. They ask you Did you see blue movies? Yes, you say. Did you like, you ask. No, you have to say. Come on, you say. Eh, you say. I liked it, you say. Come on, you say. Yes, you say. Very nice, you say. Then you have to ask Have you seen red tape? No, you say. No? you say. No, you say, I lost it. Too bad, you say. After they ask you like white film? Yes, you say. Yes? Ask. No, you have to say, sorry. Ah, you say. These conversations, you can also do without in my life. The second thing that happens when you go to the movies is that you go to the cinema to see a film about revolution, it turns out that you seem to have made the revolution. Then after, go home as one who has just had a revolution. What should you do, someone who has just had a revolution? Nothing. Go to bed. At rest. What you did very well to say, after Scantatevi, you are exploiting. You make a life of shit, scantatevi. They'll look as if they were Robespierre and Marat. And you, a moron. They look at you as you look crazy. They,
convinced to have made the revolution, they think that you, the fool. You hear them, as they say I saw the film on Sacco and Vanzetti? They say as if they went to America to burn before the court, Sacco and Vanzetti.
and literature?
Literature no. Literature, wakes you up. You ask questions, with the literature. I saw them, students of Russian in the second year. It was obvious from the way came into power, they had just read Crime and Punishment. You could see from how to bend his head, I think, but I have a bug? What will I do, I, in my life? The life of a bug or Napoleon? Then, usually, are forgotten. Make a career. At most, founded a film club after.

... And you're a sensitive person?
Yes, but in a different way from how it normally means. And when you say 'a sensitive person, it is usually phrased with two meanings, one positive, one negative. The one positive, it means a person with a certain sharpness of mind, one who understands the nuances of events and behaviors without unequivocal words or acts. The negative indicates a weak person, unable to cope with the problems that arise from interpersonal relationships.
And you instead? I
, another thing. It is said, of one who has traveled widely and deeply studied, which has an open mind. Here, a sensitive person, I think, is a person who has the open feeling, which has a strong emotional reaction to what's going on. This person, if he wants to live in a society, must first learn to be flexible. Because when the feeling is open, then enter everything.
So keep everything inside, you can not. That as there are so obsessive thoughts that remain in your head you can go crazy, so there are feelings so harrowing that if you keep them inside you will open the belly. So if you're flexible, your tummy becomes a kind of store, from which continually enter and leave the feelings.
So what?
Then when he enters a feeling in your stomach, you change. And when a feeling comes from your belly, you change. And you were in Russia, that Russia teaches you some things if you have been to Russia six came back with an idea of exteriority different than when I had been there. You go back you do not care to hide anything, outwardly. If you go to Russia, well dressed does not matter anymore. It will be the vodka will be the cabbage, I do not know, I know it happens. So for that then people realize to change, because change always and do not want to demonstrate that you've changed ...

REVIEW Renzo Montagnoli to "cultural ties"

How appropriate to clarify the author in his introduction to the work that consists of a collection of articles by literary genre, written at different times, chosen not so much follow a logical thread rather than intrinsic to the emotional side felt in a long time after reading.
Without having the ambition to in-depth discourse on the major contemporary Italian poets and novelists, cultural ties is in fact a mixture of short essays and interviews, however, able to interest the reader to its completeness, in spite of a shortness discursive rather than harm, provides a summary of features at all obvious and commendable. A
Bacchelli are devoted, quite rightly, not a few pages, cover, as well as a critique sheet, the answers to several questions posed to writers and weight, however, able to make judgments made, such as Geno Pampaloni, Silvano Demarchi and Walter Mauro, just to name a few.
By contrast, albeit limited, between the views emerge as a very lively and certainly honor the author of novels for basic Italian literature, such as The Mill on the Po The Devil and to Pontelungo .
Of particular interest, especially for me, is Then an interview with Joseph Bonaviri, with questions that hit well highlight the thought of the great writer of Mineo.
There's also a little article about "why the poem," a classic question I would say in this case accompanied by a response-analysis, perhaps not entirely acceptable, but logical and consistent in its articulation.
Of all these series of articles that struck me most about Nino Palumbo, the writer of Trani, who died in 1983. What seems most important in this paper is, however, the interview, which shows clearly the author's personality than ever wriggling in their answers, even carrying out his thoughts with an appreciable consistency and without fear. I regret never having read anything by Palumbo and I think I will in this regard as soon as possible.
Here, one of the many strengths of this book is to intrigue the reader, to make him rise to the interest in a writer or a poet perhaps little known to him, and desired to see some of his works, and what is truly valuable I honor and respect to Fulvio Castellani, who ask you to act without delay to the drafting of a similar mix that embraces and includes other authors, perhaps not known, but of good quality. In recommending
cultural ties I might add that reading, never tiring, it's certainly agile and pleasant, so you can say that you learn while having fun.

Conference: DEFENCE OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE (Chieti, Thursday, December 2, 21,30 )

Conference

DEFENCE ITALIAN LANGUAGE

Thursday, December 2, 21.30

Living Cultural Semprevivo
Marrucino Course No 33 - CHIETI

The Italian has been, and continues to represent the concrete unity of the country. But in recent decades has suffered more than other European languages of the new historical conjuncture, characterized by two opposite and concomitant phenomena: globalization and the rise in various forms of micro-nationalism or regionalism that unlike the patriotism of the past do not unite, but divide it. While it is officially running some dialects, Italian language is still "unofficial", not even mentioned in the Constitution. No wonder, then, that the linguistic situation is not the most optimistic. The same Anglicization, complain that all is not so much an evil in itself, but rather a symptom, although among the most showy, of a deeper malaise: the estrangement from national language, which in the seventies and has been encouraged in many ways.

What to do? Today the Italian language has become a mass-spoken, good or bad, millions upon millions of people and in these conditions the same, so often called, renovation of the school would not have a lasting effect without the assistance of many others: media information, economic structures, government. It is clear that in order to mobilize this "force field", as he said Giacomo Devoto, you need a pilot project of which only a government can take over. Hence the proposal for the establishment of the Higher Council of the Italian language, with the task of ensuring the presence and quality of our language in all sectors of civil society in the knowledge that this is a cultural no less important than that of which we are proud heritage.

All this is conveyed to Chieti, Thursday, Dec. 2, at 21.30 in cultural Semprevivo Lounge (First Marrucino 33), Lucio D'Arcangelo (author of "Breviary of Italian", Editions Solfanelli) and Mr. Paola Frassinetti (Vice-Chairman of the Culture Committee of the House). Attended by the Mayor of Chieti Primio Umberto Di Marco and the publisher Solfanelli i.

Card Book

In a story that crosses political and social upheavals of Italy from the eve of World War I until the end of the second conflict, Attilio confesses his devotion to the pleasure flesh, lived in the wake of the model of d'Annunzio.
Beware of the cultural phenomena of its time, is also popular lecturer and poet, which may seem contradictory to its use in public office as a judge before, and as a result of lawyer in the state.
Juggling between the libertine life and career of lawyer, firmly based on a hierarchy of timeless values, reliable witness of events that generate more controversial interpretations, Attilio lives personally salient events of Italian history from the first half of the twentieth century, attracted by the adventure dannunziana where eroticism, aestheticism and heroism are confused.
"I wondered if my participation in the bloody civil war was not a luxury that I could not allow me, she asks suddenly.
The choice of a more responsible behavior wins the desire to get involved, and the everyday life requires more courage to participate in nearly as dangerous as a romantic adventure.
fleeting Love, Dangerous Liaisons, successes and jamming of the profession, the drama of the administration of justice in military courts, are all taken in the form of an autobiography declined unusually long and touching letter to his son. The author

English Attilio (1898-1983) was born in Sulmona Abruzzo from both parents for several generations.
a teenager, he worked as a parliamentary journalist Stefani Agency, then the largest news agency in Italy.
past the competition in the judiciary, he carried out the functions of investigating judge and then in Orbetello Grosseto. Therefore, won the competition lawyer in the state, was initially intended Eagle, then to Cagliari, Ancona, and finally to Rome with the Attorney General of the State, where he traveled brilliantly throughout his career.
During the Second World War, was called up for military with the rank of colonel in the military justice. He was president of the military court in Greece and then the military prosecutor in Dalmatia, Corsica and France.
multi-faceted personality, was the author of sharp legal studies and books of poetry. Among the latter, we point out the book "The two of us and fortune," published in 1962 by the publisher of Bologna, Cappelli.

THE NAVAL WAR IN THE BALTIC SEA
The epic of war and convoys in the North Sea

Editions Solfanelli

attended by the author and publisher Mark Solfanelli

Board book:

This book describes, as it has never been done before, naval aviation operations that took place in the Baltic Sea during the two world wars, using previously unpublished documents from archives in Germany and Britain. In 1914 the Marine
Kaiserliche lined up a small fleet in the Baltic, supported if necessary by dell'Hochseeflotte units deployed in the North Sea. The Russian fleet maintained a largely defensive stance. The major naval battles took place in the Gulf of Riga British submarines, which are sent in the Baltic at the request of Moscow, caused major losses to the German fleet. In the book describes the tasks performed by the Royal Navy to support forces, usually referred to as "White", who fought against the Bolshevik regime during the civil war (1918-21). When
June 22, 1941, German troops and its allies began the invasion of Soviet territory, the unity of the Finnish Navy and Kriegsmarine rested many minefields, which caused heavy losses to the Soviet Baltic Fleet. Germany was able to control the Baltic without having to use large resources. Over the last months of war the Kriegsmarine was able to evacuate from areas threatened by the offensive over Russian 2.5 million civilian and military ports in West Germany.
The iconographic part consists of more than sixty beautiful photographs of the main vessels that took part in this conflict, and maps.

Today I

Today I'm happy and I am also relieved that the news arrived from the States, has warmed our hearts.
The U.S. Senate has recognized the genocide of Armenians by the Turks.
Not that there was need their approval but as the public becomes aware of certain events, only when treated by institutions and the media in countries that "account", they are welcome such recognition. Also because
axis Israel-Turkey-US true axis of iron, has always dominated and directed the world public opinion at will.
What happened to the Armenians and not only them but to the Greeks of Pontos, the Kurds and so on ... etc. .. is not mentioned, is withheld or denied.
While the tribunals for war crimes, genocide was that of the Serbs against Muslims in Bosnia, historically documented the extermination of the Armenians, Greeks and Kurds, was just a massacre.
Like the American Indian.
for world opinion the only known genocide and the Holocaust.
Even if we add those who, everyone knows who were the people who suffered.
Instead of the Turks for the crimes of the Israelis and the Americans silence and ignorance.
So here tonight that I put aside my partisanship, my spirit and so controversial, and I declare I am grateful to the U.S. Senators who have shown and the intellectual honesty to finally make justice to history.
For information, here's what it was:

In the period before the First World War the Ottoman Empire had taken over the government of the "Young Turks". They feared that the Armenians could ally with the Russians, which were enemies. The 1909 recorded a massacre of at least 30,000 people in the region of Cilicia. Later in 1915 some battalions of the Russian Armenians began to recruit among their ranks who previously had served Armenians in the Ottoman army. Meanwhile the French army financed and armed the Armenians in turn, inciting them to revolt against the emerging Republican power. In the night between 23 and 24 April 1915 the first arrests were made between the Armenian elite in Constantinople. The operation continued the next day and following days. In one month more than a thousand Armenian intellectuals, including journalists, writers, poets and even the delegates to the Parliament were deported to the interior of Anatolia and massacred on the streets.
arrests and deportations were carried out mostly by the "Young Turks". The death marches, which involved 1.2 million people, hundreds of thousands died of starvation, disease or exhaustion. Hundreds of thousands were massacred by Kurdish militia and army turkish. The photographs by Armin T. Wegener are the testimony of those facts.

Despite the historical and political disputes which give account in the following section, a wide range of analysts in agreement that this occurrence as the first modern genocide, and especially many Western sources emphasize the aspect of "scientific" planning of the killings .

The genocide of Greeks of Pontos
The ancient Greeks founded colonies on the Black Sea coast since ancient times. During the Middle Ages, the Greeks of Pontus were subjected to the dominion of the Byzantine Empire, only to suffer the invasion of the Ottoman Turks with the Ottoman rule, the Pontic remained isolated from the rest of the greek world, developing as a culture and their language (so much so that today the Pontic greek no longer mutually intelligible with the greek spoken in Greece). As other Christian minorities in Asia Minor, such as Armenians and Assyrians, Pontic Greeks suffered severe persecution at the hands of Ottoman Turkish nationalists first and then, so much so that some historians speak of a real genocide of the Pontic Greeks ", which occurred at the beginning of the twentieth century.
