Today I

Today I'm happy and I am also relieved that the news arrived from the States, has warmed our hearts.
The U.S. Senate has recognized the genocide of Armenians by the Turks.
Not that there was need their approval but as the public becomes aware of certain events, only when treated by institutions and the media in countries that "account", they are welcome such recognition. Also because
axis Israel-Turkey-US true axis of iron, has always dominated and directed the world public opinion at will.
What happened to the Armenians and not only them but to the Greeks of Pontos, the Kurds and so on ... etc. .. is not mentioned, is withheld or denied.
While the tribunals for war crimes, genocide was that of the Serbs against Muslims in Bosnia, historically documented the extermination of the Armenians, Greeks and Kurds, was just a massacre.
Like the American Indian.
for world opinion the only known genocide and the Holocaust.
Even if we add those who, everyone knows who were the people who suffered.
Instead of the Turks for the crimes of the Israelis and the Americans silence and ignorance.
So here tonight that I put aside my partisanship, my spirit and so controversial, and I declare I am grateful to the U.S. Senators who have shown and the intellectual honesty to finally make justice to history.
For information, here's what it was:
Source Wikipedia.

In the period before the First World War the Ottoman Empire had taken over the government of the "Young Turks". They feared that the Armenians could ally with the Russians, which were enemies. The 1909 recorded a massacre of at least 30,000 people in the region of Cilicia. Later in 1915 some battalions of the Russian Armenians began to recruit among their ranks who previously had served Armenians in the Ottoman army. Meanwhile the French army financed and armed the Armenians in turn, inciting them to revolt against the emerging Republican power. In the night between 23 and 24 April 1915 the first arrests were made between the Armenian elite in Constantinople. The operation continued the next day and following days. In one month more than a thousand Armenian intellectuals, including journalists, writers, poets and even the delegates to the Parliament were deported to the interior of Anatolia and massacred on the streets.
arrests and deportations were carried out mostly by the "Young Turks". The death marches, which involved 1.2 million people, hundreds of thousands died of starvation, disease or exhaustion. Hundreds of thousands were massacred by Kurdish militia and army turkish. The photographs by Armin T. Wegener are the testimony of those facts.

Despite the historical and political disputes which give account in the following section, a wide range of analysts in agreement that this occurrence as the first modern genocide, and especially many Western sources emphasize the aspect of "scientific" planning of the killings .

The genocide of Greeks of Pontos
The ancient Greeks founded colonies on the Black Sea coast since ancient times. During the Middle Ages, the Greeks of Pontus were subjected to the dominion of the Byzantine Empire, only to suffer the invasion of the Ottoman Turks with the Ottoman rule, the Pontic remained isolated from the rest of the greek world, developing as a culture and their language (so much so that today the Pontic greek no longer mutually intelligible with the greek spoken in Greece). As other Christian minorities in Asia Minor, such as Armenians and Assyrians, Pontic Greeks suffered severe persecution at the hands of Ottoman Turkish nationalists first and then, so much so that some historians speak of a real genocide of the Pontic Greeks ", which occurred at the beginning of the twentieth century.
